Hempstead organizations and families can supply more than enough demand to keep a decent, professionally run catering hall busy all year round. Presently they travel out of the community for these services.
On April 24, 2012 at the Renew Hempstead Champions meetup, the group suggested liking the Hempstead Center for Arts & Technology idea as a means to provide culinary and horticulture job training for the youth and adults as a source for jobs at the catering hall.

Thank you for your interest Mr. Ojo. I hope to see you at the next renew hempstead meetup in August.
A professionally run catering hall with quality food and service that can serve also as a resource for job training for enterprising youg adults, will not only benefit the residents of Hempstead but families and organizations outside of the community, looking for a quality venue to celebrate their special occasions. With the current level of demand for this type of business I believe it is financially viable and a win- win enterprise.
